Epsilon have confirmed via their website that academy player Hampus "hampus" Poser will play for their main team at the WESG 2016 World Finals. The 18-year-old will replace Karl-William "kalle" Haraldsen, Epsilon's designated stand-in, as the Norwegian is not eligible to play for the team due to the tournament's nationality restrictions. Hampus "hampus" Poser has earned the chance to play at his biggest event yet after catching the eye while playing for Epsilon's secondary team, called Epsilon Hype, who have competed in a series of online tournaments lately, including the recent eSportsArcadeTV Cup, in which they were eliminated by Tricked in the first round.
Epsilon CEO Greg Champagne stated that the WESG finals will be "a great opportunity" for hampus to continue his development and added the remaining players believe that the youngster is "ready to get his first shot in the biggest competition today." Epsilon, who have been drawn alongside .Russia, Virtus.pro, Team One, subtLe and EnVyUs in Group A of the WESG finals, are attending the event with:
