After two of their players weren't able to secure a Chinese visa and make it to Haikou, Hainan in time, Viva Algeria has been forced to pull out of the WESG 2017 World Finals. The Algerians were the last team to secure a spot at the World Finals, as they defeated Hyper4mance in the North African qualifier 3-1 at the beginning of February. Unfortunately, after Viva Algeria managed a win over the Tunisian side that featured Alaeddine "Potei" Chaari and Ben-Amor "krumpze" Karim, who previously competed internationally at TWC tournaments, and claimed a spot at the $1.5m event, they won't be able to participate in it. Viva Algeria faced visa issues and, in the end, only three players arrived to China, while the others weren't able to make it in time. Therefore, the Algerian team is forced to forfeit their matches, which will result in Envy and Bravado automatically advancing into the second stage of the tournament. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |
