Uprise Champions Cup announce a European edition, featuring $15,000 at the LAN Finals, with the on-line period starting on November 16. The Uprise Champions Cup: Europe will see a bump in prizepool, as it's been increased by $5,000 to a total of $15,000 compared to the third season's $10,000, all of which will be distributed in the LAN finals in mid-January. A online sixteen-team GSL first group stage will kick off the tournament, with two teams from each of the four groups advancing to the next group stage, that time around played in a best-of-three round robin. Five of the teams have received a direct invite so far, another invite is yet to be determined, with eight more already qualified from the previous season, while the remaining two came from qualifiers in the CIS region and Europe. Teams have been placed into four groups of four for the initial stage as follows:

$15,000 has been reserved for the prizepool, with additional $5,000 going into travel support, making it a total of $20,000 given out to the teams:
The exact date nor the venue of the six-team LAN finals hasn't been decided yet, but it's expected to be at the end of January or the beginning of February. |
