France and Denmark have reached the grand final of ESEC 2013 which will be held in Belgrade, Serbia on December, 17th with ~$6,500 in cash and hardware prizes on the line. After a three-month online stage with fourty-two countries, the European Championship is down to two participants, who will be traveling to Belgrade, Serbia next week for the grand final. Team Denmark have earned their spot after beating the odds and besting Sweden in a three-map battle (de_dust2 8-16, de_train 16-3, de_nuke 21-17) yesterday. France's match versus Kazakhstan's pick also came down to a third map, but this time the favorite managed to pull through (de_nuke 14-16, de_inferno 16-8, de_dust2 16-10). That means France will meet Denmark in the grand final held at the four-star Crystal Hotel in Belgrade, Serbia on December, 17th with the following lineups, which will have the traveling and accomodation costs covered by the organizers.
