The Russian team had come off a disappointing 25-5 defeat to fnatic in their first group, but they bounced back from that result to pick up their first points in the tournament. forZe were first to win rounds in the match, but FX immediately came back to set the score in their favour. However, the Russians breezed through the rest of the first half, being up 12-3 at the break, with a large contribution by Michael "Dosia" Stoljarov, who picked up 30 frags. FX looked determined to turn the score around in the second half, but such a deficit ended up being too big for the Poles, who only managed to make it 11-19.
