Swole Patrol and Complexity are the last two teams confirmed for the North America closed qualifier.
Over 120 teams from all over North America competed in the open qualifier, where the quarter-finals saw Swole Patrol take down boxr 16-9, while Complexity stomped The Pioneers 16-1 to get to the deciding semi-final matches.
The first semi-final started on Inferno, where Jordan "Zellsis" Montemurro and his men proved to be trouble for Bravado, who were unable to find an edge against Swole Patrol. The North American squad capped off the CT-side with an 11-4 lead at halftime, but a rocky start for Swole Patrol in the second half saw the South Africans rack up six rounds as CTs, contesting on the map. In the end, the North Americans kept their composure to seal the victory 16-10 and take the series lead.
Zellsis shined with a 1.66 rating in the sweep
The series then moved on to Overpass. Bravado came out swinging on the T-side to grab a quick 2-0 start; however, Swole Patrol held the line with three in a row to make it 3-2. Bravado fought back stringing together two more, but the North Americans remained in control to win seven out of eight rounds securing the 10-5 half. Swole Patrol then continued their dominance through the second half, earning six out of seven rounds to seal passage to the closed qualifier, sweeping the series 2-0.
