Enemy have won the MLG Americas Minor over SPLYCE 2-0 (16-7 on de_cache and 16-9 on de_inferno) and win $30,000 and a spot at the MLG Columbus Major qualifier as a result. The MLG Americas Minor saw Enemy, who quite effortlessly trumped Winterfox in the semifinals, and SPLYCE, who upset tournament favourites OpTic in their semifinal, face off for $30,000 and a spot at the Columbus Major qualifier. de_cache was the first map of contention and despite a closely contested early game, which saw SPLYCE pick up a few T-side rounds, Enemy finished the half up 10-5.
Arya "arya" Hekmat managed to defuse the bomb on SPLYCE's pistolround with four Enemy members still alive, but even such heroics were not enough as a solid Enemy offensive overwhelmed both bomsites and gave Michael "MAiNLiNE" Jaber and crew the map at 16-7. Kenneth "koosta" Suen continued to rack up kills for Enemy, even on the second map of de_inferno where he ended up picking up a 33-14 scoreline. The map itself saw Enemy give SPLYCE no quarter and take the map 16-9, thereby winning the MLG Americas Minor. MLG Americas Minor ChampionshipBest of 3
